MICHAEL A. CUNEO

Michael A. Cuneo has 20 years experience as an investment banker and venture capitalist. He was a General Partner of Howard, Lawson & Co., a prominent regional investment-banking firm based in Philadelphia, from 1985 through the firm’s sale in 2000. During his tenure with Howard, Lawson, Mike was responsible for managing five venture capital partnerships sponsored by the firm and focused on providing early-stage companies with access to private equity from individual investors and institutional venture capital funds. He has served on the boards of numerous corporations in connection with his venture capital activities. He specialized in providing strategic management and corporate finance advice to the CEOs of the firm’s technology intensive clients. He was also responsible for creating the firm’s merchant banking business.

Mike is past Chairman of the Board of the Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern PA. He has an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, an MS from Northwestern University, and a BES from The Johns Hopkins University.
