A technology leader in the application of ASICs to musical instruments. The company was sold to the nation’s largest manufacturer of sound cards for more than $75 million.

The first all-sports cable television network created for delivery of programming via satellite to local cable operators around the U.S.



Intelligent Electronics, Inc.
The largest franchiser of microcomputer hardware and office equipment stores in North America. It was a distributor of products to stores that traded under the names of Today’s Computer Business Centers, Entre Computing Centers and Connecting Point of America.

The originator of the large-format, discount office supply superstore in the US, having developed unique methods of marketing and distribution (NASDAQ: SPLS).

Urban Outfitters, Inc.
A rapidly growing national retailer of clothing and eclectic decorating accessories. The company operates more than 40 Urban Outfitters stores in North America, Ireland, and the UK, more than 25 Anthropologie stores in the US, and a wholesale division. The company went public in 1993 (NASDAQ: URBN).

LVIR Investor Group, LP
A limited partnership formed by MidCoast Capital and Dime’s managers to purchase Dime Capital, a subsidiary of Seattle-based Washington Mutual. Purchased assets consist of equity and debt investments in approximately 30 companies, plus limited partnership interests in several venture capital funds. The companies in the portfolio are located throughout the eastern United States.
